Provoke participants into challenging or reframing pre-existing beliefs and perceptions. Make them question what they think they know for the sake of potential new discovery.
Provide relevant content and an experience that inspires and equips participants to put what they’ve learned into meaningful action in their daily lives.
Assure that participants walk away feeling entertained, intrigued, and thinking, “that was such a fantastic use of my time and attention.”
Lots of speakers are talking about burnout. But few are talking about it from a nervous system or Parts-perspective. Participants will learn the first signs and symptoms to watch out for, when burnout starts brewing. They’ll be guided and challenged to use introspection to explore their internal system of psychological "Parts" associated with stress and overwhelm. And they’ll leave with a working understanding about how to identify, wrestle with, and recover from symptoms of burnout. This talk equips employees and organizational members to find greater satisfaction in their work, effectively address anything that is contributing to burnout, and to sustain higher levels of physical and psychological wellness and sincere joy so that they can contribute in meaningful ways for longer amounts of time.
We are not robots. Therefore companies and organizations are sorely mistaken and will feel the consequences if they don’t integrate emotional intelligence training and tools into the resources they provide to employees and leadership. Humans are thinking, moving, and feeling BE-ings. Participants will learn how to utilize curiosity as an active agent in observing and exploring internal and interpersonal cognitive and emotional experiences through psychologically intelligent introspection and communication. For employers prioritizing that their people feel truly seen and heard, this kind of emotional intelligence work is mission critical.
This talk is based on Sara’s book, More YourSELF - Question What You Think You Know to Realize Who You Are. Participants will be guided through self identity exercises and perspectives that lead them out of stuckness, pain (of all kinds) or complacency and toward a more authentic, thriving, optimized version of themselves. More YourSELF hinges on the notion that we are all psychologically comprised of sub-personalities that are complex and multiple, driven by various motivations, fears, values, and integrities. Sara will teach participants how to self-therapize and create meaningful shift by using their inherent sense of curiosity. Because when someone can say in truth, “I feel so mySELF, “ they (along with everyone around them) profoundly benefit from it.
In a culture with a chronic addiction to certainty, assumptions, and judgement, CuriosiFy will prompt participants to consider that we are perhaps fueling dysfunction while holding ourselves and each other down and back. Because we are neurobiologically wired to resist (and run away screaming from) vulnerability, curiosity often gets a bum rap. But innovation, connection (with ourselves and each other), creativity, inspiration, healing, service, and discovery are all born from seeds of curiosity. Participants will explore their own strongholds around certainty and will experience what it looks and feels like to shift gears into a more open-minded, non-agenda’d state of curiosity and growth-mindset. Our homes, work spaces, communities, and the world get better when we use more question marks.
